Welcome to the official website of Caring for Camo. Caring for Camo is a student organization at the University of Texas at Austin that was founded by three students in December, 2012. Our goal is to support the men and women of the United States Armed Forces with letters and care packages. We live in a democracy and have our freedom because of their sacrifice to our nation. The least we can do is give them a reason to smile, let them know we love them, and wish them a safe return home. It takes about 3-5 minutes to write a letter, and it will make a day for someone that hasn't been home in months. If you can donate, every dollar helps. We would love to send you a care package! Please tell us about yourself, what items would help, and your address overseas! We also appreciate any advice on how to better serve you! Packing Boxes: Bound for the Heroes!
This Thursday and Friday, April 25th and 26th, we will have our Care Package Packing Events! Thursday's event will be on the UT Campus from 5:00-7:00 in UTC 3.110 and Friday at HandleBar in downtown Austin. Come out to help us pack the boxes, write some letters, and finalize this semester! If you would like to donate goods, please bring them to the events! The list can be accessed below. Please email us if you have any questions.

Nate Boyer: A True American Hero and Caring for Camo Leader
